Pastor D. Stephenson
Pastor D. Stephenson is the founder pastor of EBC,Madurai. A graduate from Madras University,Stephenson was working in a private sector. When he felt God’s call into ministry, he left his job and started his full-time ministry in the sub- urban regions of Madurai. He has now been in ministry since 1993.
He is married to Thanga Amutha and has a son, Jude Nathaneal. He strongly believes in the reformed doctrines and upholds the 1689 confession of faith. Stephenson is very passionate in spreading the gospel and doctrine of grace among the pentecostal pastors in TN. Although he was not graduated in theology,
By God’s grace and through his persistent study, he conducts theology courses for pastors in 5 places. He feels God’s leading in every facet of his life and knows he is living out the purpose God has for him; teaching and preaching God’s grace and love to all men, especially among the nominal Christians.
Pastor S. Jude Nathanael
Pastor S. Jude Nathanael serves as a pastor at The Evangelical Baptist Church, Madurai. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a Master of Divinity (M.Div.), and a Master of Arts in Reformed Baptist Theological Studies.
He has been engaged in the Lord’s ministry since May 15, 2015, and has devoted himself to the preaching and teaching of God’s Word with a strong commitment to the Reformed Baptist faith and the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith.
Pastor Jude has a pastoral heart for the spiritual care of God’s people and is deeply burdened for the training and equipping of pastors and church leaders. His ministry focuses on faithful exposition of Scripture, sound doctrine, discipleship, and theological education, with a desire to see churches strengthened through biblical preaching and Christ-centered ministry.
He is married to Mrs. Judi Nivetha Princy, and they are blessed with a daughter, J. Adriella Gwen.
The verse that particularly shapes and encourages his ministry is 2 Timothy 2:2:
“And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.”
Through preaching, pastoral ministry, and theological training, Pastor Jude seeks to glorify God by raising up faithful disciples and equipping believers to know, live, and proclaim the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
